On Friday, November 9, 2018, El Dorado High School (EDHS) will once again host its annual Veterans Day Ceremony at the Fallen Heroes Memorial on campus.
The Fallen Heroes Memorial was constructed in 2013 as an Eagle Scout project by Andrew Binnings, a 2014 EDHS graduate. The Memorial honors the three El Dorado graduates who sacrificed their lives defending the country – U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sergeant William Harrell (92), U.S. Marine Corps Corporal Claudio “Nene” Patiño IV (06), U.S. Army Sergeant Jason Michael Weaver (07).
Each year, this ceremony serves as an important moment to honor all American veterans and to give thanks to living veterans who served the country honorably during war or peacetime.

Please arrive at the main entrance by 9:15am. Veterans are encouraged to attend and participate in roll call. The event will end at approximately 10:30am.
