This May all juniors will take a new test which replaces the California Standards Test in place for over a decade. EDHS wants to help familiarize all students with the new online testing format.

Families and future Golden Hawks, we are hosting our annual 8th Grade Showcase on March 18th. The practice gym will be open from 6:30pm-7:00pm for you to meet staff, teachers, coaches, and more. Our showcase of talented students performing and information from each academic department will be in the Joe Raya Gym from 7-8:00pm. We hope to see you there.

Dear PYLUSD Community,
It is nearly impossible to put into words what I want to say as I write to you today as this is an altogether heartbreaking and challenging time in the life of our school district.

This past summer, El Dorado teacher Sunshine Cavalluzzi was honored with the Grammy Museum’s Jane Ortner Award which was presented at an awards luncheon where First Lady Michelle Obama was the speaker.
