LAGUNA BEACH – A few minutes past 4:30 a.m. on a recent weekday, Janet Evans sleepily raced her BMW through a light rain, north up Pacific Coast Highway, her personal comeback trail cutting through the darkness.

EDHS Garners Six-year Accreditation Term from WASC

This year El Dorado concluded the last year of a six-year accreditation cycle with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) with a full self-study and accreditation visit. El Dorado received news on May 30, 2012 that it had been granted another six-year accreditation with a midterm revisit.

Newsweek Ranks El Dorado High School as one of America's Best High Schools

EDHS PAL Program Named One of the Best in the County

On May 7, 2012 Deirdre Hill and Kyla Groeneveld from the Orange County Department of Educating made a surprise visit to EDHS to present a plaque to Mr. Donnie Bladow and certificates to the PAL students to recognize them as a one of the premiere programs in the county.
