EDHS Welcomes Mr. Philip Dominguez, Assistant Principal of Curriculum
Golden Hawk Family:
It is with much confidence and enthusiasm that I announce Mr. Philip Dominguez as our new Assistant Principal of Curriculum and Instruction.
Mr. Dominguez comes to us with much experience in school management and is eager to take on the challenge of serving in this new capacity. Most recently, he has served as the Assistant Principal of Student Services the past 3 years at Esperanza High School. Prior to his time as an Aztec, he spent 2 years as an AP at Kraemer Middle School, 2 years as an AP at Northview High in Covina, 1 year as the Dean of Attendance at Sonora High School, and 3 years as a teacher at Lynwood High School where he taught Computer Science and was the district liaison for technology.
In addition to 10-plus years in education, Mr. Dominguez worked in private industry in technology for 18 years as a sales and marketing manager for a multi-billion dollar company.
His wife of 32 years, Lisa, is a teacher at Glenview Elementary and is a graduate of El Dorado. His daughter Erin teaches at Cal-High in Whittier, and his daughter Stacy practices law in Irvine.
Please join me in giving him a true Golden Hawk welcome. I am confident he will be incredibly impressed by the high caliber of students, parents and staff who call El Dorado home.
