Congratulations to the El Dorado High School Athletics Program on receiving the 2012-2013 CIF Southern Section Sportsmanship Award for the Century League. We applaud all of our student athletes and coaches for their commitment to being fierce competitors while displaying sold character through sportsmanship. Well done, Golden Hawks.

It was another successful weekend for the cheer and song teams at USA nationals held at the Anaheim convention center. At Sundays final competition all 5 teams performed routines to ensure that ELDO Cheer and Song would stay on top. In the end JV Song took 3rd place while Freshman Cheer, JV Cheer, Varsity Cheer and Varsity Song all took home the national title making El Dorado the most successful program at the competition. JV Cheer has won 6 consecutive titles, Varsity Cheer 4 consecutive titles and Varsity Song back to back national champs. Awesome job to Cheer and Song on earning El Dorado a total of 13 national titles in the last 7 years.
